Vernon Douglas Davis, Sr., 80 of Madison, passed away on July 4, 2022.

He is survived by his children, Mary Beth Zivat (Mark), Gina Ruth Davis Atnip, and Vernon D. Davis; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Verna Davis.

He retired from Rapair.

Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Services will follow in the Chapel with Rev. Milton Martin and Rev. Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
