In Loving Memory of Vickie Elizabeth Congo Stewart

January 26, 1967 - August 23, 2026

Vickie Elizabeth Congo Stewart passed away on August 23, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and memories that will forever be treasured.

Vicki was a devoted wife and mother, and a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and honorary grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Stewart Jr.; her son Robert Stewart III and her daugter-in-law, Tasha Stewart; her mother, Barbara Ward Stewart; and her sisters, Donna Congo, Tammy Wilson, and Connie Congo. She also leaves behind six nephews, three nieces, and her special honorary granddaughter, Mila Angle.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Congo.

The day before Vickie passed, all four sisters were blessed to be together one final time. We thought we had more time. Maybe somehow Vickie knew differently. Maybe that was why she didn't want us to leave and why she squeezed our hands so tightly. That precious final moment together will remain in our hearts forever. 

We find comfort believing that when Vickie left this world, her Daddy was there waiting to take her home. We picture her now, free and at peace, dancing in the clouds with a big glass of Dr. Pepper.

Vickie will forever be loved, remembered, and deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
