Ms. Virginia Rae Schlegel Yuraska, age 80, passed away on Friday June, 26, 2026, in Huntsville Al. She was born to the late Andrew Peter Schlegel and Barbara McDonald Schlegel on February 23,1946, in San Diego, California. She will be laid to rest in Alpine Cemetery in Alpine, CA with her parents.

 Ms. Yuraska is preceded in death by her parents; son, Roger Wayne Yuraska, Jr.; siblings, Barbara Jean Vreeland, Pete Schlegel, and Mary Ann Garrison. She is survived by her children, Christy Cothren of Huntsville Al, and Tanya Smith (Rob) of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Kaye Greenwood of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Cindy Yuraska of Panama City Florida, and six grandchildren.
