He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Louise Yarbrough; wife, Sherry Elaine Yarbrough; grandson, Justin Allen Yarbrough; great-grandson, Tucker William Yarbrough; two brothers and one sister.

He  is survived by his sons, Rodney (Lynn) Yarbrough of Harvest; Jason Brock of Huntsville, Chad (Marcy) Yarbrough of Campbell, CA; granddaughter, Ashley (Jerry) Matice of Toney; grandsons Nicholas Yarbrough and Cody Yarbrough; great-grandchildren: Landon (Savanna) Hillis, Avery Hillis, Brett Matice, Justin Allen Yarbrough Jr., Piper Yarbrough, and Daisy Yarbrough; great-great-grandson, Grayson Hillis; stepsons: Bruce Wilbourn, Mark Wilbourn, Shane Wilbourn, and Kevin Wilbourn, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister Shirley Fanning of Decatur.

Respecting his wishes, there will be no funeral service.  He will be privately laid to rest by his family at a later date.

The family would like to thank Dr. "K" and his staff at CCI, the staff at Hospice of North Alabama for their services, and Marsha Jones and her wonderful staff of angels from  Tender Grace Caregivers.  A special thanks to Nurse Kelsey and Nurse Abby with hospice for their attention to his needs, cousins Phillip "Butch" Locke and Roger "Joey" Locke for their love and support and to his good friends Bobby and Sandy Jones for their help during this difficult season in his life.

Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
