William Andre, age 81, of Huntsville, Alabama, was called home to the Lord on June 5, 2026.

Born in California, to the late William and LaVon Andre, Bill grew up a faithful servant of the Lord. He graduated from Louisiana State University in engineering and went on to obtain a master's degree from Texas A&M University. He worked as a civilian engineer for the Army, dedicating 41 years to solving problems to benefit our soldiers. He later worked as a contractor for Radiance. He was married to his beloved wife, Patricia, for 57 beautiful years.

A devout Catholic, Bill was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady, Queen of the Universe Catholic Parish for over 35 years serving as a lector and helping in various other ways. He spent his retirement tending church functions and spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his spouse; three children, Todd Andre, Anna Locke and her husband Joey, and Steven Andre and his wife Olivia; five grandchildren, Madilyn Wheeley, David Locke, and Alexis, Cole, and Conner Andre; his brother and his wife, Daniel and Jody Andre; and his sister, Elaine Andre.

Friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, June 10, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Parish. A Mass will immediately follow with Father Charley officiating. A private graveside memorial for family will commence at a later time.
