William "Bill" Lankford Burrows, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, in Madison, AL.

After serving his country in the U.S. Air Force, he completed his education at Alabama A&M University and continued his service to the nation as a civil servant for the Department of Defense until his retirement in 2005.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Leroy Burrows and Juliet Lankford Burrows. Survivors include his sister, Rebecca "Becky" Burrows; and son, William "BJ" Dale Burrows, and his son's fiancée, Emily Julia Jenkins.

Bill will be buried at Huntsville Memorial Gardens. A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, at 2 p.m. at the Decatur SDA Church.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Huntsville Hospital, Hospice of North Alabama, Divine Personal Care Homes, Berryhill Funeral Home, and Huntsville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Divine Personal Care Homes, Cattyshack Inc., Decatur SDA Church, or Athens SDA Church.
