William David Hayes, Jr., 59, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

David graduated from Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, GA. He moved to Huntsville in 1997. David enjoyed fishing, baseball, NASCAR, football, and  was a Georgia fan!  He loved his family very much. David was a very gentle, kind, giving, loving man and loved by many.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Hayes Phillips; son, William David Hayes III; grandsons, Landon and Stone Phillips; granddaughters, Mya and Allie Pride; step-daughter, Lindsey Alban (Malcolm Pride); sister, Tracy Hayes; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Terry Hayes; granddaughter, Riley Pride; and parents, Bill and Evelyn Hayes.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 11:00 AM at Stateline Cemetery. Bob Fuller will be officiating.
