William R. Massey, 73, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on June 1, 2025, surrounded by friends.

William worked as an accountant for many years. He loved what he did and in his last years spoke of the fact that he loved to help others.

He especially loved spending time with his friends, talking about his late wife, and conversating with others.

William lived at The Health Center at Research Park for the last few years of his life. He was loved by each member of staff as if he was family. He ever failed to put a smile of the faces of staff members.

Presleigh, a Registered Nurse at The Health Center at Research Park, says her favorite memory of Mr. Massey was when she was having a tough day and complaining of all the things she had to do. Mr. Massey often wanted to sit at the nurse's station and conversate with her. This day, he was just listening to her, and he simply stated, "Presleigh, is there anything that I can help you with?" Presleigh has remembered this moment from the day it happened. She states that it has always reminded her that there is good in the world and even on your worst day, you have a friend there to support you.

Remaining to cherish are all the members of staff at The Health Center at Research Park.
