Obituary

Wilma Dean Harbin Miller passed away at her home on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the age of 93.  She was born on September 21, 1929, in Madison County.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Delphia Harbin; her husband, Ronald E. Miller, Sr; her son Ronald E Miller, Jr; her sister, Marjorie Harbin; her brother, William Harbin (Buddy); and her son-in-law, Larry Sublett.

She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Magnusson (Ronny), Sarah Sublett, and Debbie Hose; her daughter-in-law, Dawn Miller; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew.

Mrs. Miller was a 1947 graduate of Madison County High School. She worked at Marks-Fitzgerald Furniture Store as an office manager for 45 years.  She was a life long member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and generosity. Her welcoming spirit made her home a place for family and friends to gather to eat delicious food and enjoy each other's company.  Her Wednesday night dinners were a tradition.  Three generations of family celebrated Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas at her home.

A memorial service for Mrs. Miller will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 1:00. Visitation will be from 11:00 -1:00 prior to the service. The service will be officiated by Reverend Mary Magnusson of Leander, Texas. Her interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Ryland.  Pallbearers are her grandsons, Zack, Josh, and Matt Magnusson; David and Hunter Hose; Brendan and Wesley Miller; and her nephew, Daniel Harbin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice, 200 Westside Square, Unit 440, Huntsville, AL  35801 or to your favorite charity.
