Obituary

Zachary Tyler Wolfe passed away this week, leaving behind many friends and family. Zach, 26, was a member of First Baptist Church in Scottsboro where he enjoyed playing handbells when he was home from college. Zach graduated from Jacksonville State University, Go Gamecocks!, with a degree in computer science. He also attended UAH, where we played in the Pep Band.

Zach was an Eagle Scout and was happiest when he was working at Camp Comer in Mentone, AL. He taught shooting sports and lead the fire crew, creating the campfires…and putting them out... for all camp wide events. He came home every fall, very tan, very tired, and full of fun stories of the things he & Pres, his roommate, would get into. Zach loved being at Camp Comer.

Zach loved life. He told terrible jokes that only his Mom would laugh at. He played D&D and Magic the Gathering. He loved playing games with his cousins on holidays and was always the first to volunteer to cook those meals.

Zach is survived by his parents, John and Jennifer Wolfe, an older brother, David, an older sister, Larissa, and her husband Tyler Hipps. He is also survived by both his grandmothers and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

No services are planned at this time. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
