Zelma was a woman who truly lit up every room she entered. Her vibrant personality, quick wit, and unmistakable sense of humor ensured there was never a dull moment in her presence. She spoke her mind with honesty and conviction, earning deep respect as a strong and influential leader among women. Her faith was not only something she believed—it was something she lived daily, pouring love, encouragement, and guidance into all who crossed her path.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Lily Stott, Otto Smith, and Cleo Smith; and great-grandchild, Brody Lynch.

Zelma is survived by her devoted husband, Howard Earle LaFevor; sons, Paul Earle LaFevor (Kimberly) and Steven Brent LaFevor (Lisa);  brother, Donald Smith (Jennifer); and extended family, including James Stott, Shirley Smith, and Linda Smith.
