Floyd C. Brumbelow, Age 78, passed away at home with his wife, family and friends nearby on May 30, 2014.He was born on July 29,1935 in Ashville, Alabama to David and Gladys Brumbelow. He grew up in Gadsden, Alabama and graduated from Southside High School in 1953.

Floyd Brumbelow joined the Navy and then worked for the Army at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. He graduated from Jacksonville College. Soon he started a business, Brumbelow Accounting Services, with his wife, JoAnn Brumbelow. The company became known as Brumbelow and Barnes CPAs and is a very successful business serving the Huntsville area. He was a member of the Valley Hill Country Club and an avid golfer. He was also an active member at Grace Lutheran Church. Mr. Brumbelow was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Weston.

Mr. Brumbelow is survived by his wife, JoAnn Brumbelow, brother; Melvin Brumbelow, five children; Betty Porter, Charles Brumbelow, Rick Hatmaker, Mitch Hatmaker, John Hatmaker, and seven grandchildren. The visitation is at 1:30-3:00 PM on Sunday, June 1, 2014 and services will be conducted at 3:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Blair Clark officiating. Interment will be at ValhaIla Memory Gardens.
