Ethel Belle Forsythe, 90 of Huntsville passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Perry Forsythe. Member of the United Methodist Church, she was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader, a member of the Eastern Star, she served on the PTA. She started the Hot Soup Program at Mt. Arlington Elementary School. She is survived by her children, Leonard Forsythe and wife Joy Forsythe, David Forsythe and wife Jacquelyn Forsythe, Doreen Forsythe, Wendy Brightwell and husband Eric Brightwell, Robert Forsythe and wife Patsy Forsythe; her sister Joyce Hoffman; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 6:00pm with Reverend Bobby Ray Halbrook officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
