Herbert Clifton Upton, age 78 of Harvest passed away on Sat., Jan. 14, 2017.

Herbert is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra, daughter Kathy Pitts, husband Marty (grandchildren Hayleigh, Sara and Ben), daughter Amy McMullen, (grandchildren Cayla, Ashley Rose, Khloiey) and son Travis Upton, wife Brittney, (grandchildren Dacy, Cooper, Holden and Brock), daughter Deborah Fourreux (Jason, Joseph, John), daughter Vicky Neely (Tracy, Holly), son Mark Upton and family.

Herbert is also survived by one brother Don Upton (wife Carol), two sisters Virginia Smith and Wilma Williams (husband Dub), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Herbert was preceded in death by his son-in-law David Williams, Jr., two of his sisters, Catherine Tate and Helen Coggin and three of his brothers Eli, Charles and Leonard Upton.

Visitation for Mr. Upton will be Tues., Jan. 17, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be Wed. Jan. 18, 2017 at 11:00 at Berryhill Funeral Home with John Grantham officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery in Hazel Green.
