Born June 21,1957 in Huntsville Al. to Lloyd & Annie Evans. Anthony went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on July 5, 2023 at UAB hospital with his wife Mary (Patty) Snelson of 33 yrs. by his side.

Anthony is proceeded in death by his Mother, Father and Grandparents Richard and Vera Smith and Mary and Booth Evans.

Anthony is survived by several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Anthony was a lifelong resident of Huntsville, AL. He attended Chapman and Lee High school. His nickname in elementary school was "Tex" because he was the first boy to wear his cowboy boots to school. Anthony loved to travel and was an avid Alabama football fan. He loved working in the yard and spending time with his dog Bandit. He also loved Nascar. He was always excited about driving the Be Petty drivers' package at Talladega, Al.
In his working years he held jobs with SCI, Raytheon, Txport, Verilink and DRS manufacturing companies. Anthony was a very loving friend there was hardly ever a time that he didn't make you feel like he knew you forever. He always tried to treat others the way he wanted to be treated. He loved his Savior Jesus Christ; he was always telling everyone he met about his faith and relationship with Christ.

A memorial service for Anthony will be held at The Rock Family Worship Center 3401 Holmes Ave. on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at 3:00pm. Please come and celebrate Anthonys homegoing with family and loved ones.
