Anthony "Tony" Shawn Llewellyn, 67 years old, passed into eternity on June 13, 2022 after accepting Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.

He was born in Florence, AL to Paul and Bessie Lard Llewellyn on March 29, 1955. He served our country as a Vietnam Vet in the Navy.  He graduated from Pulaski Area Vocational Technical School in 1978, cum laude from Martin Methodist College in 1981, and from UNA with a Bachelor's in Marketing in 1983.

He was a man of many talents who loved to work and was most widely known for being the owner/operator of Dirty Boy Bobcat, where he beautified many places across Limestone County. He was a principled conservative and passionate about his country, was a lover of good music and conversations, and was a friend to countless people.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy and brothers Paul Jr., Walter, Roger, Carl and Phillip.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years Geneva Dabney Llewellyn, his daughters April and Cheryl, his sisters Sonja Evans and Sue Cassidy, and his brothers Jeff, Blaine, Richard (Lori) and Steve, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his faithful dogs Diddley, Zeppelin and Benji. He loved you all very much.

Visitation will be held, Monday, June 20th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.  A memorial service will follow immediately after at 2:00 pm at Sardis Spring Baptist Church in Athens, and burial at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church.  The date for burial is still TBD.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to either Samaritan's Purse, Athens Veterans Museum or the Clearview Cancer Institute.
