Bobby Beaty, 86, Toney, AL., passed away on October 13 , leaving behind his devoted wife of 67 years, Martha Travis Beaty, daughters Deborah Minshew (Mike), Phyllis Chambliss, sons, Stanley Beaty (Sharon), David Beaty (Serlina), sister Sandra Terry of Moulton, AL, grandchildren, Christina Minshew , Brian Beaty (Summer), Stephanie Ikard (Allen),Zachary Beaty(Mary Beth),Nicholas Beaty(Susan),Christopher Chambliss (Abbigail) and two Great-granddaughters, Bailee and Macie.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marvin Lee  and Madgie Beaty, Grandparents, John and Mattie Beaty. and his beloved in-laws Clayton and Georgia Travis.

Bobby was multi talented, and excelled at all. He was one of three movie projectionists in Huntsville in the -50s, decided to sell Insurance and made the Million Dollar Roundtable in the first year,  learned Taxidermy and was so good, he had more work than he could handle, loved wood working and made much of our furniture, taught himself to paint,  worked thirty years at Post Office and retired as Postmaster at Madison, and all that time was cattle farming, and selling real estate. But his most successful career was being a great Daddy  and  wonderful husband to me. I hope he realized how much he was loved and respected by all who knew him and how much he will be missed.

Visitation for Mr. Beaty will be held on Wednesday, October 16th, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A service will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Bobby was a Member of the West Huntsville Church of Christ and Paul Owen will be officiating.
