Charles Burhans, Sr., 71, of Meridianville, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at home with his family.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Willis G. Burhans; and mother, Dossa Fay White.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice Spencer Burhans; son, Charles Burhans, Jr. (Kimberly); granddaughter, Charlotte; brother, Willis E. Burhans (Carol); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends and family from 1:00-2:30p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in Meridianville, on Saturday, December 16, with a memorial service immediately following, provided by Chaplain Laura Limley of Enhabit Hospice.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff at Enhabit Hospice for their dedication and service to Charles and the entire family, in addition to Berryhill Funeral Home for their services.
