Charles "Charlie" Raybun Letson, 82, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

Mr. Letson is survived by his wife, Sue Letson; children, Steve Letson (Lori), and Keith Letson (Cindy); grandchildren, Jamie Smith, Samantha Blackwood (Aaron Seigh), Katie Lawrence (Micah), Justin Calloway (Katherine), Kallie Letson, Brandy Ball, Kyle Letson (Alli), Jaymon Letson (Allison), and Hayden Calloway;  great-grandchildren, Stevie Posey, Annalyn Blackwood, Granson Blackwood, Arabella Seigh, Cheyenne Lawrence, Zion Lawrence, Wesley Calloway, Rydel Ball, Isaac Ball, Easton Ball, Hazel Ball, Sadie Letson, Emmalyn Letson, and Jackson Letson; daughter-in-law, Giner Calloway; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Gurley and Ivy Letson, children, Tim Calloway, and Terri Duby; siblings, Billy Letson, Melvin Letson, Ovie Letson, Stanley Letson, Gene Letson, and Jimmy Letson.

Mr. Letson is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served with the Huntsville Fire Department for 15 years and then began his own business laying hardwood floors. Mr. Letson enjoyed spending time with his family, but he was most often found watching John Wayne and other Western shows.

Visitation for Mr. Letson will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with the service immediately following in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Pastor Terrell Boyd officiating.
