Cortice Lee Stinnett, age 77, of Huntsville Alabama passed away on January 8, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born August 13,1947 in Fulton, KY to the late Stanley and Sarah (Tuck) Stinnett.  He retired from Huntsville Hospital where he worked for 42 years. Lee was an active member of Monrovia Church of Christ, where he formerly served as an elder.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, June Vincent Stinnett, and his son Greg Stinnett, both of Huntsville. He also is survived by his sister-in-law Joy Ward, brother-in-law John Schwerdt, two nieces, five nephews, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Lee Stinnett, and sister Judy Stinnett Schwerdt.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life in his honor on Sunday, January 19, at 2pm, at the Monrovia Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
