Daniel Avon Young, age 72 of Toney passed away August 20, 2020.

He is survived by his three children, Danie'l Mills, Will Young, and Jim Young; three grandchildren, Levi, Grayson, and Gabrielle; and great-grandson, Samuel; Mother, Gertrude Long Young; and sister, Kaye McFarlen.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Young.

Mr. Young was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star.

He retired from Morton Thiokol as plant manager.

There are no services planned at this time.  Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
