David Peter Glidden, 75, passed peacefully in his sleep on May 11, 2024. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Rachel Malo Glidden, and has joined her in a place our Lord has prepared for him.

Originally from Maine, David relocated his family to Florida and eventually resided in Huntsville, Alabama. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant prior to his discharge in 1970.

David is survived by his daughter, Pam Glidden, and his son Matthew Glidden (Laurel). He and his wife built a legacy of love, and in that spirit he leaves behind a collection of grandchildren and great grandchildren that affectionately know him as "Grandpa Dave".

He will be placed in his final resting place with his beloved Rachel in a small family ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Huntsville Humane Society.
