Douglas Norman McCutcheon of Lacey's Spring, Alabama, passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 75.  Douglas was born on February 2, 1949, to Cloye McCutcheon and Norma Cook.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cloye McCutcheon; mother, Norma Cook; brothers, Robert "Bobby" McCutcheon, Jerry Wayne, Billy Joe, George (Mickey) McCutcheon; and sister, Rebecca McCutcheon.

Mr. McCutcheon is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sherry McCutcheon; son, Doug McCutcheon (Becky); daughters, Keri Bearden (Joey), and Rebecca Parker; grandsons, Jeremy Berry, Joseph Bearden, Brody Bearden, and SGT. Aaron McCutcheon (Makayla); granddaughters, Savannah Lacy (Maceon), Tory Parker, and Emily Parker; great-grandson, Braxton McGee; and great-granddaughter, Emma Berry.

Visitation for Mr. McCutcheon will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, in the chapel at Berryhill Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Glenn Hammer officiating.  Interment will follow at Hough Cemetery in Lacey's Spring, Alabama.

The serving Pallbearer will be Doug McCutcheon, SGT. Aaron McCutcheon, Jeremy Berry, Michael McCutcheon, Donnie Long, and Matt Thornberry.
