Dr. Michael Wayne Bosserman was born March 1, 1951 in Holland, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; sons, Eric Fox (Robin) and Michael Bosserman; daughter, Amanda Bosserman; granddaughters, Hayley and Aubrey Fox; brother, John Bosserman; sister, Anne Demarco (Frank); sister-in-law, Vickey Dinenna (Joe) and their son Phillip Dinenna. He preceded in death by his mother, Annabelle Bosserman; father, George Billings, and brother Alex Bosserman (Nancy).

Dr. Bosserman married Kathy Smith Bosserman on October 11, 1986. He graduated from Oklahoma University with an undergraduate in chemistry and worked as an industrial hygienist for five years before deciding to change his career to medicine. He then graduated from Marshall University in 1988 and Duke University in 1991. Dr. Bosserman retired from medicine in 2018, after practicing for 30 years. He enjoyed hiking, botany, kayaking, Jimmy Buffett and spending time at the beach. All of our assorted pets and fosters were accepted and loved by him over the years. He was a proud member of the Sloth Kayaking Team. He cared deeply about his patients throughout his career and took pride in being a loving, supportive husband and father and had an excellent "dad" sense of humor. Dr. Bosserman passed away at Huntsville Hospital on April 12 ^th , after suffering a stroke on March 25 ^th . He is greatly missed by those who loved him.

A small, private memorial service will be held at the Memorial pavilion on Monte Sano Mountain.
