Helen Doris Eakes Baker, 85, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, March 14th.

Mrs. Baker was a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Rodger D. Baker, Kenyon W. Baker (Sherri), and Nathan B. Baker (Shaun); one daughter, Karen Baker Barksdale; one brother, Jerry Eakes (Faye); nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Allen Baker; parents, Buford Eakes and Minnie Driver Eakes; and brother, Louis Eakes (Joyce).

Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Union Grove with Rev. Pat Helton officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
