Jack "Sonny" Douglas Torbert Jr,, 70, of New Market, passed away on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023.

Mr. Torbert served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years,and was in the graduating class of 1972 at Buckhorn High School.

He is survived by his spouse, Dixie Moore Torbert; sons, Jack Douglas Torbert III and Waren Grant Wise (Crystal); daughters, Heather Burnette (Josh) and Amanda Moore (Matt); granddaughters, Aubrey Burnette and Haley Henderson, Cali Chapin, Sadie Wise and Matty Loo Moore; and grandsons, Mason Wise and Calvin Wise.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, July 21st, at Maple Hill Cemetery beginning at 12:00PM. Pastor Ryan Epps will be officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
