James Wes
Wesley Hamby
April 29, 1980 – September 4, 2024
James Wesley Hamby; age 44, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday – September 4, 2024.
Wesley loved being around people from the time he was small. When there was people around he was the happiest. Seemed like he never met a stranger. Wesley would go out of his way to talk to someone who was alone or just looked like they needed someone to listen to what they had to say. He really had a knack for connecting with others. Wesley was a defender of the underdog and would not tolerate anyone being picked on, especially in school.
Wesley was blessed with friends from all walks of life from street people to CEO's. In his eyes everyone had value and needed to be appreciated for who God made them to be.
Part of his mission in life was to tell everyone about his Savior, Jesus Christ so that they would have the opportunity to spend eternity in Heaven when this earthly life comes to its end.
Wesley was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Bill and Sue Hamby, maternal grandfather Paul Cates, brother Byron Rex Hamby, aunt Judy Crick, uncle Gino D'Andrade.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Kim Hamby, maternal grandmother Jean Cates, nephew Chase Hamby, aunt Tarena D'Andrade, aunts and uncles Scott and Ginger Bartley, and Miller and Julie Cates and cousins Ben Bartley, Reed and Catherine Ann Darden, and Ashlyn Cates as well as a host of friends.

5. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
6. And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place."
7. "And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."
