Jan Creasman Johnson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family and community leave an enduring legacy. Jan was born in Miami, Florida but spent much of her life in Alabama and was a proud graduate of Lee High School, Class of 1970. A devoted Alabama Crimson Tide fan, Jan's love for her home state and its traditions shone through in her life.

Jan was the cherished mother of Kim Schultz and her husband, Matt, and of Bobby Johnson and his wife, Jessica. Her grandchildren, Colton Schultz, Bailey Schultz, Slade Schultz, Brady Johnson, Ashlyn Johnson, and Macey Johnson, were the light of her life. Known affectionately by her family as a dedicated and loving "Oma," she doted on each of her grandchildren, making countless cherished memories and imparting her values of kindness and resilience.

She is survived by her brother, Dwight Creasman, and his wife, Sherry; and a host of extended family and friends. Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Johnson, her parents, Lawrence and Marilyn Creasman, and her son, Brian Creasman.

Jan was known for her extraordinary cooking skills, which she shared generously with her community. Her ministry, a true testament to her faith and compassion, extended beyond her family and touched the lives of countless neighbors and church friends, many of whom were blessed by her delicious meals and caring nature.

Her family, friends, and community will deeply miss Jan's unwavering love and commitment to those around her. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched and the countless hearts she warmed through her kindness and generosity.

Visitation for Jan will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Bob Blackburn officiating.  The interment will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.
