Jane Keller Byrd, age 75, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2025.

She graduated from Winthrop College in 1971 with a degree in Social Work.  She traveled the country and parts of Europe with her husband during his military career, but she settled and called Huntsville her home since 1991.  She enjoyed growing things from the earth and searching for hidden antique treasures.  Her love of antiques sparked a long time presence in local antique shops across Huntsville.

She was born to the late Thomas Russell, II and Carolyn Keller in Elloree, South Carolina.  She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, John Evans Keller.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lanny A. Byrd (Retired Air Force Major), son, Jonathan Byrd (Emily), and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville on Tuesday, January 7th, from 5-7 p.m.
