Jennifer Elizabeth
Neal Jones
October 17, 1979 – January 9, 2025
Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Jennifer Elizabeth Neal Jones passed away unexpectedly in her home on January 9, 2025 at the age of 45.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Reginald (Reggie) Jones; her children, Emma and Olivia; her big and spoiled bulldog, Lily; her mother, Kathleen Neal, her brother, Chris Neal (Seanae); her niece, Shelbie McCord (Dusty); her nephew, Zachary Neal (Kaylee); her sister in law, Rochelle Jones, her nephew, Rajae Jones; her Uncle Brian Bradley (Nancy); her cousin, Nick Bradley (Jodi); her Godmother, Susan W. Umfleet (Randy), who loved her like a daughter; her best friend, Natalie Bishnoi, who she loved like a sister; a host of nieces and nephews and family members near far, whom she loved dearly, and a long list of dear friends, too numerous to mention.
Jennifer was born on October 17, 1979, to Kathleen Bradley Neal. She attended J.O. Johnson High School and graduated in 1998. Starting in 1997, she began volunteering with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and spent 11 years volunteering at their annual telethon and as a camp counselor for their annual summer camp. Jennifer had a successful career, working alongside pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Julie Calderwood. Jennifer lived a life of service, whether it was through volunteering or helping others through her generosity and love. She never met a stranger and was a true friend to all who knew her.
In 2007, Jennifer married the love of her life, Reggie, and in 2008, they had their first daughter, Emma. They decided to add to their family again in 2013 when their youngest daughter Olivia was born. Jennifer and Reggie are both avid Auburn University fans, attending games when possible. They both loved traveling together, with New Orleans being their favorite destination to return to time after time. Jennifer was a devoted wife and mother; she loved taking care of her family more than anything.
