Jimmy Thurman Shelton, 82, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife, Georgette Shelton, children Jimmy Shelton, Jr. and Desmond Shelton (Valeria); grandchildren Matthew Shelton (Laura), Jon Shelton, Kryshna Edwards (Randall), Jasmine Shelton, Natalie Giles, Caleb Justice, Angus Stubbs, and Samantha Bailey; great-grandchildren Keymoni, Ariel, Piper, Rose, Destiny, Dallas, Kaylei, Colt, and Ava; and sister Mozzlle Thomas.

Mr. Shelton is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mable Shelton, and siblings Howard Shelton, Ronnie Shelton, Monnie Mathis, Mildred Locke, and Dempsey Shelton.

No services are planned at this time. A celebration of life will be held later in the spring.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mr. Shelton's name to the celebration of life account for Jimmy at Redstone Federal Credit Union.
