JoAnna West Lehman, 85, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Mrs. Lehman lived her early and final years as a resident of Madison County and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1957.  She worked as a buyer for several companies in Huntsville supporting efforts on behalf of NASA and the Department of Defense.

Mrs. Lehman was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar R. Lehman, and her parents, Beatrice O. and Chester M. West.

Survivors include her brother, Chester H. West (Pat); children, John R. Helms (Terry) and Patricia D. Huebner (Lawrence); stepchildren, Susan Tidwell (Phil) and Edgar "Randy" Lehman, Jr. (Cindy); four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on October 19th from 3:30 to 4:00 pm at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 4:00 in the chapel.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that in Mrs. Lehman's memory, you consider planting a tree in Mrs. Lehman's name.
