Johnny Guy Thornton, 78, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022.

Mr. Thornton is survived by his wife of 46 years; Sue Thornton, children; Taryn Elledge (Randy), and Kimberly Andrews (Kevin), grandchildren; Sadie Cardwell, Cameron Cardwell (Hannah), Carson Elledge, Brandi Allen, Misty Thomas, Ashley McCall, great grandchildren; Laiya Blanton, Aliviaya Howard, siblings; Marty Breen (Cal), Joe Breen (Susan), Beth Chance (Randy), Mary Joe Roberts, Susan Vazquez, Faye Smithers, Jackie Mcdaniel, a number of nieces and nephews, and his favorite girls; Mya and Schnookie.

Mr. Thornton is preceded in death by his mother; Cathrine Ann Breen, step-father; William Joseph Breen, and his father; Bernard Guy Thornton.

Johnny was saved late in life, but was thankful for God's Grace.

The family of Mr. Thornton will receive friends, Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm in the chapel at Berryhill Funeral Home.
