La Verne W. Fooshee, 89 of Huntsville, crossed over March 20, 2023 at her home.

She enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, trying new recipes, and reading, as well as spending time with her family. Prior to her illness, she was an active member of Hillwood Baptist Church.

Mrs. Fooshee is survived by her daughters, Crystal R. Lee (Steven) and Patricia G. Fooshee; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thurman Fooshee.

La Verne will be laid to rest in Mississippi in a private family graveside celebration.
