Lawrence Wayne Howell, age 80, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family on November 6th, 2024. Born on April 25th, 1944, Larry was a Vietnam war veteran, Permanent Deacon, retired computer specialist, husband, father, brother, Pawpaw, and friend. He was a man of love, patience, and faith. He enjoyed gardening, music, church, reading, fishing, and family time. Larry served over 40 years, devoted to his Catholic faith, as a Permanent Deacon. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary, and 3 grandsons – Dylan, Connor, and Ian Burch.

Services will be held on November 15th, 2024, at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 1pm and the funeral will begin at 2pm. Internment will be held in Memphis, Tennessee at a later date.
