It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Marissa Anne Montecalvo, who was killed in a car accident in Huntsville, Alabama on January 13, 2025, at age 35.

Marissa was born in California and spent her early years there, and in Hawaii, before moving with her family to Huntsville.  She attended cosmetology school and worked at several salons in the area before joining the Great Clips team.  Before she passed, she attended Calhoun Community College for systems engineering.  She touched so many lives through her kindness and love.

Even in death, Marissa helped others through her anatomical gifts.

Marissa's greatest legacy is her two beautiful children, Jordan and Jayden and the fond memories of Marissa will live on through them as they grow and prosper.

Marissa is survived by her children, Jordan and Jayden; parents, Rich and Kim; brothers, Michael and Aaron; grandparents, Beverly Guz, George and Paula Montecalvo; uncles/aunts, George and Debbie Montecalvo, Ron and Kristie Redeen; cousins Nick and Mark.

There are no services planned at this time but the family is thankful for the outpouring of support from the community, friends, and family.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to "Kids to Love", the Huntsville Women and Children's Hospital, or another worthwhile organization of your choice.
