Mr. Ashley "Ash" Rogers, age 55, of Hazel Green, Alabama passed away peacefully at his residence on December 23, 2024.

Ash was born on February 20, 1969, in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Buddy and Sarah Rogers.

A devoted husband and father, Ash shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Shannon.  Together, they built a beautiful life including raising two children who were the joy and pride of his life:  Austin and Briley.

Ash was a man of many talents and a true "jack of all trades".  He worked in maintenance with Madison County Schools at Harvest Elementary, where his dedication left a lasting impact.  Whether it was fixing classic cars or tackling electrical and building issues, Ash had an uncanny ability to make anything run or repair whatever needed attention.  If it had an engine or required ingenuity, he could handle it with skill and determination.

Beyond his work, Ash found joy in life's simple pleasures.  He was an avid Alabama football fan, always cheering "Roll Tide!"  He was very superstitious and had to follow the same ritual every single college football Saturday.  He also loved his Jeep, classic cars, grilling, spending time at the beach, and listening to all types of music.

Above all, Ash loved being a father more than anything.  His children, Austin and Briley, were the center of his world.  He was the best father and the love he had for his children was evident.  He treasured the time they spent together and he will continue to live on through them.

Ash will be remembered as a loving father, husband, friend, and a man who could fix anything with his hands.  He enjoyed making people laugh and his quick wit and sense of humor will never be forgotten.  May his legacy bring comfort to all those who mourn his passing.

Visitation for Ash will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel at 12:00 pm with Ronnie Miller officiating.  Internment will follow at Charity Cemetery in Hazel Green, Alabama.
