The children of Patsy Hunt wish to share that she passed away peacefully on April 08, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born in Marshall, Michigan to James and Florence Burke.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Hunt, Jr.; as well as her parents and siblings, Bertie Coffman, Virginia Keenum, and Martin Burke.

She is survived by her five children, Kathey Nabors (Frank) of Union Grove, AL, Nancy Hunt of Scottsboro, AL, Tray Hunt (Pam) of Toney, AL, Bart Hunt (Lynn) of Huntsville, AL, and Mary Cook (Kevin) of Lebanon, TN. As well as her five grandchildren, Stephen Nabors (Lisa), Laura Nabors, Allison Hunt, Ashley Cook, and Shelby Cook; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nabors, Nolan Nabors, Brandon Nabors, Amelia Cripps, Mazie Nabors, and Elliot Cripps.

Mrs. Hunt was a longtime Huntsville, AL, resident, who was raised in Chattanooga, TN, and live in Nashville, TN during her early years of marriage. Previously she had been actively involved in the local church as a long time member at Heritage Baptist Church and then at Woodland Hills Baptist church both in Huntsville, AL. Unfortunately, due to her declining health, she was unable to attend for the last several years of her life.

The family would like to thank Diversicare of Arab, AL, for caring for her over the last two years and also Shepherd's Cove Hospice for helping her during her last two weeks.

As a family, we have chosen to not have a memorial service. If you would like to honor our mother/grandmother, please feel free to make a donation to your favorite charity in her name.
