Payton "Buddy" Ray Davis, age 21, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at Huntsville Hopsital at 5:45p.m.

He was the son of Shanna Hill and the late Allen Davis.

Payton is survived by his sisters, Lindsay and Summer Cowan; brothers, Austin Seals and Dariko Harris; grandparents, Jerry (Sherrie) Campbell, Don (Lisa) Davis, and Janice Johnson; uncles and aunts, Angie (Paul) Seymour, Cathie (Nathan) Ray, Chad (Amy) Campbell, Eddie Campbell, Julie (Tyler) Campbell, Jamie Harmon, and April Campbell; nephews, Kane, Beau, Jaxon Seals, and T.J. Fulton; cousins, Mason McPeters, Taylor Enzer, Rylee Clifton, Addison and Anna Campbell, Kyle (Alley) Campbell, Allison, Carson, and Emit Harmon, and Dalton Pugh.

Payton is also preceded in death by his sister, Dezaray Davis; and cousin, Dallas Pugh.

If you knew Payton, you knew he was the life of the party, but you also knew if he had it, you had it too. When you came in contact with Payton, he was someone unforgettable. He was not just a son, brother, grandson, uncle, or nephew, he was also a friend to so many. Riding horses was his happy place and if you knew him, you knew he could ride anything you gave him. His smile was contagious and he had a way of making everyone smile. He will never be forgotten and he will forever live on in our hearts.
