Earl R. Seeber, Jr., age 89, of Madison, passed away Saturday, March 20 at home surrounded by his wife and some family members.

He was raised in Syracuse New York with his sister JoAnn by their mother Catherine Seeber. After earning a Civil Engineering Degree at Syracuse University Earl joined the U.S. Navy as a Civil Engineer in the Seabees. While having served in many locations most notable were Cuba during the Bay of Pigs invasion, four years in Vietnam, and 18 months at McMurdo Station Antarctica. Late in his career Earl received a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. Afterwards receiving an Professional Engineering License. Earl retired from the Navy in 1977, continuing to work for global construction companies in places such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Earl is survived by his wife Marguerite, son Mark and daughters Karen and Linda. Earl has six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday March 24 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by chapel service at 2:00. A graveside commitment ceremony will take place afterwards at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
