Richard George Moore 72 of Huntsville AL passed away on March 22, 2023.

He was born June 29, 1950, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. In 1968 Richie graduated from Pleasantville high school in Pleasantville NJ.

He was known for being a hard worker from a young age. He loved all things music and even spent some time working as a DJ, He loved being a grandpa and spending time with all of his grandkids. He loved to sing, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking with his children. He was a faithful member of Valley Fellowship Church for almost 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lucy Borosque Moore and his father Stanley Edwin Moore. Also, preceding him in death his brother Gary Moore, and his wife of 25 years Ann Renee Moore.

He's survived by his children Jonathan Moore (Cristy) of Huntsville, AL, Matthew Moore (Angie) of Bradenton, FL, Michael Moore of Huntsville, AL, and Jessica Hardin (Curtis) of New Market, AL. His Grandchildren: Lane Hardin, Mary Jane Moore, Aiden & Audrey Moore, and Love Brannon. His Siblings: Stephen Moore, Sr (Pat), Linda Perkins, and Vicki Somers (Dean) all of Atlantic County, New Jersey, and Anna Stanley of Winston, GA. Also, he is survived by several nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A celebration of life will take place at Valley Fellowship Church 3616 Holmes Ave. Huntsville AL on Sunday March 26th at 5:00 PM.

An additional service and burial will take place at a later date in Smithville, New Jersey.
