Richard Lee Neumeyer, aged 68, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelia Neumeyer, four children, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lou Neumeyer, and his brother, Bobby Neumeyer.

Richard dedicated 32 years of his life to serving as a police officer in Huntsville, Alabama, before retiring.

He was a faithful Alabama fan and thoroughly enjoyed umpiring baseball, traveling to Tunica and Las Vegas, and playing golf.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home.  The service will follow at 1:00 at Berryhill Funeral Home.  Internment will follow at Rice Cemetery.
