Our beloved mother, Sylvia Christian Brazier, gained her heavenly wings peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024.

She was born to the late Sally Tipton Christian and H.B. Christian on July 30, 1938.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Arthur Brazier, Jr.; two brothers, Buddy and Melvin Christian; three sisters: Beacher Mae Colbert, Rachel Wales, and Malaysia Holman; granddaugher, Amy Renner; and great-grandson, Cory Renner.

Survivors include her five children: Deborah Nash of Hazel Green, Donald (Rita) Brazier of Madison, Dolores (Tony) Davis of Hazel Green, Donna (James) Nash of Harvest, and Dracinda-Kricket (Greg) Hudson of Toney; and four sisters: Lerrie Bowden, Ona Bowden, Virgie Bowden, and Vollie Christian.  She is also survived by four grandsons: Russell Rozell, Brian Harbin, Eric Rozell, and Joshua McKearin; four granddaughters: Erica Vernon, Monica Nash, Jessica Kowdis, and Amber Bradley; eighteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23rd from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by service at 2:00 with Milton Martin and Jerry Hovis officiating.  Burial will be in Ford's Chapel Cemetery.
