Terry Dalton Long, 71, passed away May 10 from complications of Parkinson's Disease.

Terry was born in Sardis Mississippi to Willie and Gladys Long. He graduated from North Panola High School and attended Northwest Junior College. Terry served in the National Guard and worked for Stovall Batteries before moving to Huntsville AL where his sister lived with her family.

In Huntsville, he worked for the Von Braun Center as Concession Manager and retired after 20 years of service, and also retired from the Public Works department for the City of Madison. Terry was a man of few words who loved Braves baseball, Willie Nelson, cakes, and his family.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Helen Long Compton.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Neff (Erik) of Washington State, his son Thomas (Jenny) and grandchildren Thomas Long Jr., and Matthew Long of Madison, nephew Mike (Melanie) Strickland, of Crestview, FL, and significant other Cathy Ontiveros.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
