Willie Albert Roberts, 82, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his three children and seven grandchildren. Son, Keith Roberts (wife Ani and their children: Shane, Emma Kate, Dylan and Isabella). Daughter, Karen Roberts. Son, Kent Roberts (wife Lori and their children: Caitlyn, Carleigh and John David).
Also survived by his brother Jerry Roberts.

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his wife: Connie Louise Parker Roberts. His parents: James Albert and Margie Lee Roberts. His sisters: Betty Bamburg, Mildred Crawford, and Vivian Baxter.

Willie will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving husband, father, grandfather(Pop), brother and friend.

Mr. Roberts honorably served four years in the United States Marine Corps (1960-1964) achieving the rank of Corporal and serving during the Cuban missile crisis.

He attended Northeast Louisiana University and graduated in 1972 earning his degree in Building Construction. He was a member of the Sigma Lambda Chi National Honorary Construction Fraternity. He worked at Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville for many years.

Willie faithfully attended church serving Jesus as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and singing in the choir and ensemble. His hobbies included: spending time with family, hunting, fishing, golfing, working jigsaw puzzles and watching Auburn football and Atlanta Braves baseball.

At the age of 20, Willie received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He lived his life as a Godly man in his Faith and Character. He was strong, brave, and pointed others to Christ.

Visitation for Mr. Roberts will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with the funeral service immediately following in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Mark Smith officiating.  Internment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama.
